By color coding every tap, we afford our customers the convenience of simply grabbing a tap based on its color. With six color rings available – black, white, yellow, green, blue and red – we have coded every tap to a specific application and designed our HSSE taps to address those applications directly, from their hardness range to their characteristics. |
Smart Cut Tapping Fluid
An environmentally safe, extreme duty drilling, tapping, cutting fluid. ‘Smart Cut’ is thick, like honey, and will stick to the tool throughout the cutting operation. Ideal for machining stainless steel, carbon steel, inconel, monel, hastalloy, titanium, aluminum and other alloys and exotic metals. Originally designed as a tapping and drilling fluid, but works well for sawing and other machining/metal cutting operations. ‘Smart Cut’ is safe for medical/dental machining applications as it does not contain animal-derived components.

Tap Extensions
Coolant-through ANSI standard taps offer the same features as regular ANSI standard taps with the added benefit of offering the ability to direct coolant to the cutting edge.
Metric DIN standard taps offer the same features as the above with all popular DIN metric sizes. Metric tap extensions are 127mm (5") and 228.6mm (9") in length. |
